Five years ago, Ann Jagert, the owner of Breakthrough Solutions, had a side tax practice. Her day job was implementing accounting software at a Fortune 100 company.
Frustrated with receiving messed-up financial statements from tax clients, Ann sensed there must be a better way. So, she hired her first bookkeeper in April 2014 and started hunting for better software than QuickBooks.
Within a week, she received an offer to purchase a 37-year-old bookkeeping / tax prep firm. Breakthrough Solutions launched a month later and became the 6th Xero advisor in Texas. Kismet!
Since then, Breakthrough Solutions has grown to 5 employees who provide 360 degrees of support to clients who want clean bookkeeping, smart tax assistance, and superb consulting services at an affordable price.
